Who We Are

Your Hosts

We are your hosts, Jenn & Gil. We have two young kids and love traveling with them.

 

 

After traveling and staying at other vacation rentals for many years, we made the decision to purchase our first vacation home in the Great Smoky Mountains. We spent months remodeling and refurnishing the cabin and loved every moment of it. We later opened our doors for families to stay at our cabin and haven’t looked back.

 

 

We now have a few cabins, each with it’s own unique draws. Each one has been carefully crafted to make you feel right at home. We are humble to have hosted hundreds of guests through the years and looking forward to sharing our homes with many more.

Do you allow pets?
Some of our properties allows pets. Please refer to each listing to determine if pets are allowed.
What are you check-in and check-out times?
Our check-in starts at 4pm and check-out at 10am. To ensure that we have enough time to clean the property we ask you not to extend these times. Please reach out to us at hello@explorestaytoday.com to see if we are able to make any special accommodations. Depending on availability, we may have packages available.
Is parking available on-site
Yes, we offer on-site parking facilities, making it convenient and hassle-free for you to park your vehicle and have peace of mind throughout your vacation. No need to worry about finding a parking spot!
What amenities are provided in the rental
Our rental properties are equipped with a wide range of amenities to enhance your stay. You can expect amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor patio, high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and in-unit laundry facilities. Feel free to review the property description or contact the host for specific amenities provided in the rental.
What is the cancelation policy?
We understand that plans can change, and we have a flexible cancellation policy. If you need to cancel your reservation, you can receive a full refund if you cancel thirty-days before your scheduled arrival. If cancelation within 14-days before scheduled arrival, a partial refund may be available. Please contact us, and we’ll be happy to assist you with the cancellation process.

My husband and I had the best time staying here. We will definitely come back. The indoor pool and movie room was awesome! We enjoyed having that to come back to after long days in the park and downtown. The location was perfect. Only 5 min from gatlinburg strip and 5 min from the arts and craft community. So many bear sightings right on our road! We even saw one from the hot tub. Very cool experience. Very clean, and the communication was immediate with our host. 5 stars all around.

We had an amazing stay at Palelo's Pool Retreat, and I can't recommend it enough! The cabin is perfectly situated close to hiking trails, Anakeesta, and downtown Gatlinburg, making it easy to explore all the best attractions in the Smoky Mountains. The cabin itself was clean and well-maintained. It came equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was stocked with necessary utensils and cookware, and having a washer and dryer was incredibly convenient. The kids loved the bunk beds and the free-standing arcade games. One of the highlights was definitely the pool and hot tub. After a long day of hiking and exploring, it was so nice to unwind and relax. Communication with our host, Gilbert, was smooth and straightforward, and we had no issues during our stay. Overall, we were a party of four, and everyone felt comfortable and at home. I would highly recommend Palelo's Pool Retreat for anyone looking for a perfect getaway in the Smoky Mountains.

The cabin was just as promised. It was quiet and scenic away from the crowd. The kids really enjoyed the amenities including the video games and the pool. We enjoyed drinking the complementary coffee while looking out at the window. It was a perfect place for our family of four. The host was very responsive when I had a question.
